Dietary Supplements

Avoiding healthcare costs and lifestyle diseases has been pointed out as the main reasons why a substantial number of consumers are increasingly investing in their well-being with dietary supplements.

At NatureXtracts, we offer dietary supplements based on the latest science studies and evidences. Our formulations contain carefully selected highly-reputed ingredients that were specially developed for maximum absorption and bioavailability.

NX Immunity Essentials

The Essential Immune Support

The nutrients in this formula are all essential nutrients with specifically selected functions to give maximum support to the immune system. This formulation is based on the latest science and therefore creates a complete unique combination of immune supporting essential nutrients which, with the inclusion of Choline, have not been combined before:
  • Immune System

Choline has shown strong evidence on its crucial role in the immune system.

  • immune system support
Choline combined with strong known essential nutrients for immune system support (Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Vitamin E, Zinc and Selenium).
  • European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) approved
Use of new researched product in combination with nutrients, which have The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) approved claims on immune system.
  • Dietary Supplements
Scientifically substantiated and proof of effect on immune system support.
Essential Immune Support
A powerful formulation for strong immune system support, as confirmed by the EFSA, that 90% of the population has a Choline deficiency, this formulation makes a difference.

How do the ingredients effect the immune support:

Choline

  • Choline is one of the latest discovered essential nutrient and can be seen as a vitamin-like. It acts like a vitamin in the body, but it is not part of a hormone or a co-enzyme and therefore not considered as a 100% vitamin.
  • Recognised, as absolutely essential by the FDA (The Food and Drug Administration) and the EFSA, as they both concluded that approximately 90% of the population is deficient in choline.
  • For the immune system is required for synthesis of the main cell membrane phospholipid, phosphatidylcholine.
  • The studies (1), (2) & (3) underlines the importance of the nutrient choline in the function of a specific type of immune cell called a macrophage, particularly for cell membranes and in cell signalling. When these cells sense a foreign invader, choline metabolism is activated. On the flip side, limiting how much choline is available can make these cells more pro-inflammatory.

Vitamin D

  • Vitamin D plays a regulatory role in the functioning of the immune system.
  • Intake of vitamin D contributes to the normal function of the immune system and healthy inflammatory response.

Vitamin C

  • Vitamin C contributes to immune defence by supporting various cellular functions of both the innate and adaptive immune system.

Natural Tocopherol
(Vitamin E)

  • Vitamin E is a chain-breaking antioxidant that protects membranes from free-radical damage.
  • Evidence suggests significant impact of vitamin E on the modulation of immune functions.
  • Results from animal and human studies indicate that vitamin E deficiency impairs both humoral and cell-mediated immune functions.
  • Supplementation of vitamin E is associated with increased resistance against several pathogens.

Zinc

  • Zinc deficiency is associated with a decline in immune function. Zinc deficiency results in a loss of B-cell and T-cell precursors within the bone marrow.
  • Zinc supplementation in humans has shown benefit in immune responses to bacterial and viral infections.
  • Zinc bisglycinate is an organic mineral amino acid chelate that has been scientifically proven to be more easily absorbed. Part of the reason for this higher bioavailability and tolerability is that chelated minerals are absorbed intact and break apart in the intestinal cell for transport.

Selenium

  • Dietary selenium, mainly through its incorporation into selenoproteins, plays an important role in inflammation and immunity.
  • Adequate levels of selenium are important for initiating immunity, but they are also involved in regulating excessive immune responses and chronic inflammation.
